Hi Bruce--

I just wanted to let you know - three months later! - how much we enjoyed our trip to the Adirondacks! (We were there the first week of August.) My kids still talk about it all the time and you cannot believe how well our three year old can say Adirondacks!

Hopefully we'll make it back one day. You have a lovely home and it was so private, peaceful and beautiful!

Bruce, we want to thank you for the great stay we had at your log home.

It really tuned out fantastic! We enjoyed skiing and snowboarding at both Titus and Whiteface Mountains. Our visit to the historic city of Montreal was worth the ride.

And the log home... what can I say... it left me speechless the moment I walked in. The only thing that was missing was a horse for a sleigh ride in the snow!

One thing for sure . . . We'll definitely be back again! ~ Magda Brostele

Bruce, we had a great time. the place is beautiful. thanks for all the pointers. we left a few items behind like fantastic, tissues, etc... we placed the trash in the bins outside. Hi Bruce.

We wanted to let you know what a great time we had this past weekend at the cabin. We got in early on Friday, unpacked and then went on a loop drive from the cabin to Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain and back.

It was a beautiful night so we had a fire in the pit.

On Saturday we drove to Loon Lake, Paul Smith's College, Tupper Lake and then into Saranac Lake to get some dinner. On Sunday we did a short hike up Silver Lake Mountain as it was only fifteen minutes away from the cabin.

The cabin was cozy and beautiful. We loved sitting in the great room with the cathedral ceiling and wood floors. Standing on the second floor looking down was awe-inspiring. The peace, quiet and solitude helped to melt away the stress from the work week.

Our wish was that we had more time but as the saying goes "time flies when you are having fun" and the weekend was over before we knew it. We got to see a little piece of what the Adirondacks have to offer and look forward to returning in the near future.

Thanks again for allowing us the opportunity to unwind and relax in paradise (A.K.A. the Adirondacks).

Hi Bruce,

The cabin itself is gorgeous. I cannot think of anything that I would change. I love the size, the layout, the granite counter tops, fixtures, floors, etc. Very nicely done!

Our favorite part of this trip was the hike to the summit of Silver Lake Mountain (not too far from the cabin).

Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciate you letting us bring our dog. He especially loved the tall grass and the apples. :)

Hi bruce, this is kim . Just wanted to thank you for sharing your beautiful log home with us!!! As you know we did not want to leave. We cleaned everything really good, vac, dusted and cleaned the bathrooms. All angie really had to do was do the laundry. I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful time we had. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cabin with

us...... everything was fine and our family New Year could not have

been better. Didn't realize until we got there that we had forgotten

a cork screw for our bottle of champagne...... our daughter (just

home from over 2 years in Mozambique in the Peace Corps) showed me

how to improvise using one of your screwdrivers to drive the cork

into the bottle! We left everything as we found it and took our trash

with us rather than leave anything that animals could get into.

We will tell others about your web-site, including friends

from NC and VA. Your Saratoga blanket and the

Saratoga glasses were hints that you know our town as

well.... maybe our paths will cross someday.

Your place was so clean and beautiful. Very quiet and serene.

The gas fireplace is a great touch.

Although secluded in Saranac, this gave us access to

Plattsburgh and Lake Placid

with an easy drive.

We even went up to Montreal!!

We want to come back and stay in the summer.

We can't believe you actually rent out your new home.

We love the quiet setting. Sitting on the porch and watching

the Snow Rabbits in the late afternoon was such a change from the city....
